ID-ALL Active Directory Plugin — Connect ID-ALL Expert to Your Active Directory
The ID-ALL Active Directory Plugin connects Evolis ID-ALL Expert Edition to your organization's Microsoft Active Directory, so card data is pulled from the user records you already maintain. It is built for IT-managed environments that want their badge and credential program driven directly by their directory of users. ID-ALL is designed by CARDPRESSO and runs on Windows and macOS.
What the Active Directory plugin does
-
Integrates ID-ALL Expert with Active Directory as a data source for card personalization.
-
Uses existing user records — names, departments, and attributes — to populate cards.
-
Reduces duplicate data entry by working from your single source of truth.
- Fits IT-managed badge programs in corporate, government, education, and healthcare settings.
Compatibility — Expert edition required
The Active Directory plugin is available only for the ID-ALL Expert edition. You must own (or upgrade to) ID-ALL Expert before adding this plugin. If you are on a lower edition, Groove Badges can pair this plugin with an Expert upgrade so everything works together.
Frequently asked questions
Which ID-ALL edition does the Active Directory plugin require?
It requires the ID-ALL Expert edition. It is not compatible with Starter, Standard, or Advanced.
What is the Active Directory plugin used for?
It lets ID-ALL Expert read from Microsoft Active Directory so cards and badges are personalized from your existing directory of users, rather than from a separate, manually maintained list.
I'm not on Expert yet — can I still use it?
Not directly. You would first upgrade to ID-ALL Expert. Groove Badges can bundle the Expert upgrade with this plugin and help you deploy both.
